“What did he say?” Kai questioned himself before running toward the door, and when he opened it he saw all three cars disappearing from the driveway. A stark frown immersed onto his face before he began running down the road. “What the… hey! What are you doing!? How am I supposed to go back home!? Dad!”
He paused near the end of the driveway when he realized his chase wouldn’t bring him anywhere near them. Unable to believe what just happened his mouth dropped open and he turned back to look at the house. He hadn’t stayed at the vacation house since 10 years ago. Before his father got busy with his business he often brought him and his mother here to keep them tightly knit as a family. The essence of a family, his father had spoken, is one of the most important virtues in a relationship aside from love.
With a groan he started back in and started for the bedroom where he’d left his phone earlier. On the way there he passed Yuri who had just finished the dishes in the kitchen and without a word followed him curiously. When Kai turned around the corner he walked into the room he used to sleep in and spotted his phone sitting on the desk he once used. Picking it up he immediately called his father for an explanation about what was going on but he was directed to voicemail right away.
“Are you serious?” he muttered and called again.
“What are you doing?” Yuri questioned on his fifth try.
He turned to look at her, pressed his lips together, and thought long and hard. Perhaps he did know what their parent’s motives were and had been unconsciously denying it. Maybe his father had hoped for him to make the best out of this hateful marriage since he had to have been pushed into it for some reason. Well since the old maid had been spying on them and reporting their relationship progress to their parents, he might as well get some things off his shoulder if he hoped to move on. If he had to admit it, he was getting tired of this relationship. It was becoming to feel more like Yuri was married to Yuri instead of Kai. He wanted a closure or, even if he hated the thought of it, maybe a beginning since they never really tried anything after the wedding ceremony. Anything would be better than feeling like he was married to himself.
Walking toward her he took her arm and closed the door before leading her to the desk across from the bed.
“Why? What are you doing?” she shrugged her arm out of his hold and looked up at him.
“This,” he held up his hand with the wedding band around his finger, “do you want to take it off?”
She frowned and sort of glared, for what reason he didn’t know.
“Move it, I want to leave.” She tried shoving him but undoubtedly failed when he grabbed her shoulder. “Yah, don’t touch me.”
The command hurt, but what he didn’t know was he was making her nervous.
“I think they left us here for a reason.”
“What are you talking about?” her tone held so much dislike he wasn’t sure how to accept it.
“Can I try to confirm something?”
Her face contorted into shock and surprise when he suddenly lifted her onto the desk, grabbed her thighs to bring her forward, and wrapped them around his waist before looking up into her eyes.
“I said don’t touch me,” Yuri growled punching his shoulder.
Ignoring the pang of hurt he crawled his hand up to the back of her neck and forced her face toward his. Very suddenly everything quieted and he could feel his own heart beating in a flash. His body felt stern from the hotness and excitement growing inside with expectations toward the events that would next take place. So it was true. There was a lot of sexual tension growing between them. The impulses to pin her down hadn’t grown from just anxiety or nervousness.
Yuri’s eyes fluttered as she stared down at him speechlessly before twirling his shirt up into her fist. He was suddenly very conscious of that skirt she was wearing and those legs around him. In the moment of silence he was sure he heard her gulp and in that moment his fingers relaxed at the back of her head. Quietly he parted his lips and took advantage of hers.
For the first time it felt different. There was a secure bliss hugging him from inside. Twisting his head to the side he continued kissing her before letting go to catch his breath. The moment they opened their eyes they caught each other in their gazes. Still only a breath away from each other he felt his senses tingle when a suppressed frown climbed over her face. Was she feeling flustered? Or were her senses just as confused as his?
Giving it another try, he set his free hand on her thigh, and took her lip into his again. Yuri pursed her lips around his and they immediately started off into a heated kiss. Her fingers crawled around his neck while her legs tensed around him. All that ran through his mind during that mere moment was how good he was feeling. Lost in the steam of the moment he picked her up and landed above her on the soft of the bed.
Their chest convulsed and their breaths became heated. He could feel everything she had to offer him from underneath and daringly ran his hand up her torso. Surprise almost shocked him when she made no remark the moment his fingers ran up her breast. Instead Yuri wrapped her knees around his hips before they naturally rolled over. A cold wisp of air regretfully met his lips when Yuri pulled away. With hands on either side on him she stared down at him with exasperated eyes that couldn’t believe herself. There was so much there in her eyes that didn’t form words through her lips. Even if she refused to speak he thought he could feel her emotions. They were locked into a long minute of silence before she began to rise.
