There were no significant differences in pregnancy rates between the insemination techniques (Table 4). The pregnancy rates were slightly higher when 120 × 106 sperm were used for LAI. However, the pregnancy rates did not significantly differ between the two tested sperm numbers. Furthermore, pregnancy rates were not significantly different between the single- and double-horn inseminations. For the unilateral LAIs, semen deposition into the uterine horn ipsilateral to the Graafian follicle did not significantly improve the pregnancy rate compared with random insemination.
