83) Check that items to be inspected and judgment criteria are
specified clearly and that there is a system for keeping
inspection results as records.
84) Check that acceptance inspections are conducted immediately
after receiving goods to check product names, part numbers,
quantities and lot numbers, in addition to packaging abnormalities.
85) Check that there are checks to ensure sufficient man-hours are available
for inspection processes and that inspections are not
affected by the takt time or other factors.
86) Check that before and after inspection products are identified
and their locations are specified clearly to prevent different
types of products from being mixed together.
87) Check that there are clear rules on the person responsible and the procedure
for identifying and isolating products that have been judged as abnormal
in inspections, and that records are kept.
88) Check that there is a system for assigning the person ultimately responsible
for inspections and for allowing him/her to assess inspection results and occurrence
of defects in the company on the same day that they take place.
