As is the case throughout much of the world, Facebook is the dominant social media network in Southeast Asia today, but it is also just one of many social platforms that are growing in popularity in the region. More generally, Southeast Asia is also a global hotspot for virtually all digital tech and media products, including the mobile devices that increasingly are a main source of Facebook and other social media traffic.
