Menoceras was a small rhinoceros that has been found in the early Miocene deposits of western North America, especially Nebraska and Wyoming. It was a true rhinoceros, but is more slender in its build than modern members of the group. It was also smaller and only reached the size of a large pig. Males had two bony horns positioned side by side on the tip of the nose, but the females were hornless.
