The Security Guard Coordinator
Description/Authority – The Security Coordinator is responsible for the implementation of
the security procedures required under the SSHE Management System and reports to Site
Manager include to each installation leader.
The Security Coordinator is responsible for:
1. Implementing safeguards to protect BSA Designated Areas against theft, vandalism,
unauthorized entries, tampering with equipment, and other undesirable elements;
2. Management of the security resources outsourcing contract including audits,
appraisals and performance measurements against contractually agreed key
performance targets;
3. Organize and manage the deployment of Security Sub-contractor personnel in
accordance with the security procedures and day to day project requirements;
4. Develop and maintain security procedures in accordance with this document;
5. Promptly report any security breach to the Site Manager and each installation leader;
6. Managing, undertaking and recording security audits and security risk assessments
throughout BSA Designated Areas;
7. Preparing security reports as required to the Site Manager and each installation
leader;
8. Managing security training inputs;
9. Participating in Incident investigations;
10. Management of access control procedures to BSA Designated Areas;
11. Management of traffic in BSA Designated Areas including enforcement of speed limits;
12. Liaison with local authorities on security matters as required;
13. Promulgation of security notices among Competent Personnel.
14. Screening of Competent Personnel as required for possible security risks; and
15. Management of keys and locks throughout BSA Designated Areas.
