In the last step, the glove sizing systems for males and females were developed as shown in Table 6 by applying 2% of minimum population coverage rate. Since a tradeoff exists between the accommodation rate of the target population and production economy in clothing sizing systems, a cut-off value of population
coverage rate for the cells of cross-tabulation should be carefully selected. As 2% of minimum population coverage rate was applied to the US Army anthropometric data, the glove size systems included 8 sizes for males with an accommodation rate of 90.2% and 6 sizes for females with an accommodation rate of 97.6%,
overlapping only in one size (7.4–7.900 of HL and 7.7–8.100 of HC).
