Anaerobic threshold, heart rate and
running speed were determined by the transmission of heart rates recorded onto
Polar trademark memory watches and by calculation of threshold speed and
threshold heart rate on the computer during the Conconi test protocol. Although the
total distance was more in the second half compared to the first half, some of the
findings were found statistically insignificant (p 0.05). While a meaningless and
positive relation was observed statistically between the anaerobic running speed and
the total distance throughout the matches, it was detected that there was no
significant variance in determining the anaerobic running speed and the total
distance.
