this basis, the aim of this work is to evaluate in laboratory the
performance of non-ceramic components commonly used in
substations using a methodology that accelerates ageing of
the insulating material. The test method was developed by
the Instituto de Investigaciones Ele´ctricas for aging NCIs
[29]. In the methodology used in this paper, UV periods
were added and the diagnostic of the ageing on the nonceramic
components was monitored by different techniques.
