Consistency: The consistency is exactly like the La Sana Hair Milk I recently reviewed. This one is also a water-based product. It is very lightweight and spreads like a dream. It does not take effort to blend this because it is so thin. It does not leave a sticky residue behind, it practically melts and becomes one with the skin.
Moisturising properties: The true testament to a product’s claim as moisturiser is on my feet. My feet are drier than the Sahara and they have been that way all my life. So I used a small amount on one foot (and kept the other one bare – as control), my foot was moisturised for the entire day. It only came off when I washed it. As for my face, I have combination skin. I have extremely dry skin in my under-eye area, oily skin on my eyelids and T-zone and normal skin elsewhere. So you can see it is truly a mixed pot. The Japanese drugstore skincare usually caters most to dry skin. You have to look harder to find things suited for combination to oily skin. So I picked this up because an emulsion is a nice in-between moisturiser and thick serum. Sometimes, I don’t use toner and use this alone after washing my face at morning and night. This works for the entirety of my face, I am happy to report.
