Group project work for this course was conducted in a variety of
locations: the classroom; technology enabled rooms in the library; other
technology-enabled meeting rooms on campus; and remotely. The physical
classroom was conducive to supporting group work. It was a computer lab that
consisted of approximately 18 large tables. There were three networked computer
monitors and keyboards on each table. Additionally, there were three large
ceiling mounted monitors that were connected to the instructor’s workstation.
This configuration allowed for Internet supported in-class group project work.
