To get white lines off boots, use white vinegar.
She uses silicone on her shoes before wearing them, and has plastic toe caps applied to the bottoms at Leather Spa. (“I’ve been going there for years.”)
Don’t forget to wash your scarves. They should be washed by hand in cold water, dry rolled in towels, and then steamed. “Always steam them—don’t iron,” she said.
