The contaminated feed ultimately contaminated the meat as described by Persi, Pleadin, Kovacevic, Scortichini, and Milone (2014) and they have reported that the meat products contained the highest average of OTA concentration in black pudding sausages (14.02 2.75 mg/kg), then in liver sausages (13.77 3.92 mg/kg) and the lowest concentration was found in pâté (9.33 2.66 mg/kg) after feeding 300 mg OTA/kg through feed for 30 days to pigs.
