As most would already know, Genghis Khan was mostly a warmonger and probably looked like all he wanted t do was charge into a city and steal all their stuff; however, Genghis Khan was not only described by that, he also promoted trade throughout his vast empire, along with making laws and rules that would create practices to be followed by his fellow Mongols. This is mostly overlooked due to it not being as interesting, compared to him running all over Eurasia pillaging and taking over most of both the land masses. This would all conclude the things he did throughout his life that has affected the world today.
