The extraction yield and physical properties of polysaccharides from ABM obtained by different extraction methods were shown in Table 1. The polysaccharide yield decreased in the following order: combined enzyme extracts > cellulase extracts > pectinase extracts > papain extracts > hot water extracts. The combined enzyme extracts had the highest content of polysaccharides(17.44%) while the hot water extracts had the lowest polysaccharides yield (11.95%).
