Develops, coordinates and executes continuous improvement activities at all levels and functions.
Facilitates the Plant to focus on reducing waste to yield savings, improve efficiencies, improve quality, meet customer needs, and achieve facility and corporate goals
Lead project teams, initiatives, and analysis of existing production data to develop more efficient and effective processes using lean principals
Utilize IE Technique / Lean Manufacturing methods for process improvement and problem resolution
Support operational priorities-Quality, Inventory, Delivery, and Cost Containment
Identify process improvements and support the implementation of these projects to production
Evaluate production and quality data to prioritize areas of potential improvement
Determine equipment requirements to support capacity changes, product changes, volume changes
Partner with cross functional teams to define and implement production requirements
Preparing project design, focusing on engineering scope as equipment specification, layout and performance
Review the project’s technical risk assessment (technical, operation)
Validating the project cost and delivery schedules before the beginning
Facilitates continuous improvement activities such as Rapid Improvement Events.
Facilitates the development, follow through, and adjustment of a strategy plan for the site
Assesses and reports on plant progress to keep implementation on track.
Assists IE Manager in facilitating Steering Committee meetings, identifies and removes barriers to success
