Conclusions
Our study results show that postpartum women’s
sleep quality was enhanced by fewer physical symptoms,
less perceived stress, fewer nighttime awakenings, less
co-sleeper disturbance, more marital satisfaction, and
better baby sleep. These results enhance knowledge on
sleep quality in postpartum women by confirming the
low reliability of the PSQI in this population, by showing
that marital satisfaction predicts sleep quality in Asian
women soon after doing the month, and by confirming
the role of rarely studied but important variables affecting
