Figure 9.6 sets out the typical sources for data that the entrepreneur turns to for information. In most cases the only data that is used comes from the entrepreneur and the network he has built up over the years. This aspect often has a direct relationship to success when the individual has been in an industry for some period of time and chooses to start up a business within that industry, whether by introducing a new service or by producing a product that springs from the industry or can be used by it.
