ULTRASOUND OF UPPER ABDOMEN :
The study reveals mild hepatomegaly with diffuse marked intrahepatic duct dilatation and ill-defined heterogeneous hyperechoic mass size about 2.5x4.6 cm. at common hepatic duct region involving CBD.
Echoic content in dilated proximal left intrahepatic duct and CBD is noted.
Gallbladder is mildly distended with thickened wall thickness about 1.45 cm. containing minimal bile sludge.
Pancreatic duct is not dilated.
Spleen and both kidneys appear normal.
No ascites or lymphadenopathy is detected.
IMPRESSION : Hilar type CHCA with associated marked IHD dilatation
Bile sludge in proximal left IHD, CBD and GB
Non-specific GB wall thickening
