Dear Erik and Pong,
We reviewed the package that you sent last week, thank you for keeping
things in motion. We want to please confirm a few points with you - of
course we understand that these are the permit drawings and there is some
flexibility in the final implementation.
1. The roofs are shown disconnected with entire pieces removed - not
just a gap. The final villas will however be connected by a continuous roof,
correct?
2. The exaggerated slopes on the roofs are for permit purposes, as you
say in the email.
3. Khun Apiratch suggested full excavation of the whole building
footprint, even in those areas where we do not have living spaces in the
basements - he wants the space to house MEP equipment and allow for
servicing it. This means that the areas marked as "provisional basement pit"
will be very low, enclosed spaces of 2m height, housing machinery. Is this
something that should be shown in the permits or not?
4. The slab to slab distance from GF to B1 is shown as 3.300 but after
MEP engineers' request for 800 mm ceiling space, this will have to be
increased to 3.500 or even 3.600 (we are looking into it). We will still
attempt to reduce those 800mm in collaboration with Khun Apiratch but still,
the height will definitely be more than 3.300. Is it ok that it is shown
like this in the permit?
5. Again in relation to the height: you had mentioned that we need a
landing for staircases spanning more than 3000mm vertically. However, you
show no landings in the drawings. Since we are currently working into
re-designing the staircases with landings, if this can be avoided, please
let us know as soon as possible. We prefer them without.
We would really like your confirmation/input on these 5 points!
