History: RUL atelectasis
Technique: The plain axial CT scan of the chest, lung and soft tissue window with coronal and sagittal reconstruction
Findings:
Lungs: There is soft tissue opacity at right hilar region with obliterated right upper lobe bronchus, causing obstructive atelectasis of RUL. It appears like golden S sign. Small calcifications within the lesion are observed. There is deviated trachea to the right and compensatory hypertrophy of RML and RLL. Unremarkable left lung. No pulmonary nodule or pleural effusion is observed.
