There were no significant differences in women’s T1 depression and anxiety levels as a function of their presence or absence in the study at T2 or T3 (all ts G 1.73, p 9 .09) or in their partners’ T1 depression or anxiety levels as a function of their presence or absence in the study at T2 or T3 (all ts G 1.32, p 9 .19). It is therefore unlikely that the results of this investigation were substantially biased by attrition
