1-1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 cup margarine or butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
2 large bananas
2 cups heavy whipping cream
unsweetened cocoa powder or chocolate curls
Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar and melted margarine.
Press mixture into a 9 inch pie plate and let cool, then refrigerate.
Boil an unopened can of sweetened condensed milk for 3 hours. Watch the water making sure there is always water in the pan.
Remove can from heat and let cool for 10 to 15 minutes.
Open can and pour toffee into piecrust. Be careful, the condensed milk has caramelized and may shoot out when opening.
Cool then refrigerate.
Slice bananas and arrange over the top of the toffee.
Whip cream and spoon it on top of bananas.
Dust with cocoa.
Refrigerate before serving.
