indemnify and hold WWCE harmless from all liability for any such injury, loss or damage including WWCE’s legal fees. Participant acknowledges that WWCE has advised the participant and/or occupant to maintain at Participant’s sole expense a standard type of Renter’s insurance policy or its equivalent, issued by a licensed insurance company of Participant’s selection which provides limits of liability in the event of loss as referred to herein.
Should you arrive at a later date than the arrival set through the program for the group from your country, you understand that you will have to pay for the rent starting with the official arrival date set for your group. You are committing to pay rent until the official end date of the program as stated in the PIS, even if you need to leave the apartment earlier, for any reason. The official start and end dates of the program are indicated in the official Placement Information Sheet.
WWCE and the Apartment Community have final authority by virtue of Participant’s agreement to immediately terminate Participant and remove Participant from the property for any breach of theLicense or this agreement. If this happens, Participant understands they will forfeit the program deposit, and pay all amounts that are owed including but not limited to rent through the end of the program, other damages and cleaning for the apartment.
If employment is terminated with EMPLOYER for any reason, Participant understands that they will forfeit the program deposit and the rent will be due through the end of the program immediately.
By signing this License to Use Premises agreement Participant voluntarily understands and agrees that the rent will be deducted from Participant’s paycheck. From the first paycheck and every check thereafter a deduction equal to one week’s or two weeks’ rent (based on paycheck frequency) will be deducted from Participant’s paycheck. Participant also has the opportunity to pay the entire amount due prior to arriving or at the beginning of the program, so that no payroll deductions need to be set-up. There is a $5 processing fee for every paycheck deduction on top of the rent amount. Participant also understands that Participant is responsible for the balance of the rent to the end of the License and/or this agreement. If Participant does not pay this balance off by payroll deduction due to loss of employment with Employer or for any other reason, then Participant’s parent/legal guardian(s) will be fully responsible and WWCE will seek payment in Participant’s home country through its affiliated companies. Participant’s parents need to sign this license and agree to be bound by this agreement. Should a payroll deduction not be arranged by employer for any reason, Participant is obligated to pay the rent in advance, every four weeks for the following four weeks.
Should the deductions be greater than the amount owed for the balance of the rent, the amount paid over will be reimbursed to the participant within 60 days after the apartment has been completely vacated, provided that there are no damages to the apartment. The refund will be released once the apartment has been completely vacated and the keys have been returned to the WWCE representative, and will be sent to the agent in the home country of the participant for distribution.
The Program Deposit will be returned to the participant within 60 days after the apartment has been vacated. The amount due to participant after the deduction of any cleaning charges, rent due, transportation charges and / or damages to the apartment will be sent to the agent in the home country of the participant.
The Apartment Community will give deposit refunds to WWCE only based on the inspection sheet approved by the Apartment Community. WWCE will divide the deposit received from the apartment community equally among the participants. If the damages exceed the deposit, WWCE will bill each participant their equal share.
