On the basis of sequence reads, Copepoda was the dominant taxon in
both Kitahara and Norpac samples (Fig. 5). Within Copepoda, Calanoida
comprised the largest species proportion. Proportions of Cyclopoida–
Poecilostomatoida and Harpacticoida were higher in Kitahara samples
than in Norpac samples by both metagenetic and morphological classi-
fication, although the exact proportion values differed between the two
data sets.
