The study of the effects on the environment and health of consumers in a day spa: Case study Spa on Sukhumvit Soi 22, the main purposes of the study are grouped into four aspects (1) To investigate the environmental impact from the operations of the spa. (2) To study the impact on the health of the consumers at the spa. (3) To explore the spa in compliance with the law and standards of the Ministry of Public Health. (4) To explore the latency of the business in terms of false spas through means of studies and surveys by collecting data from in-depth interviews with those involved with the spa including the owner, training staff, spa therapists, consumers, and health authorities. Comprehensive information and analysis has been collected to reflect the objectives set
The findings of the spa's impact on the environment and the health of consumers are that there are no measures to protect the environment, such as water quality, (wastewater) cleaning of tools and equipment including the fabrics used. The risks to the health of consumers served were more likely to be at risk in contracting dermatitis, colds, etc. The survey also found that only 30 percent of the spas are operating correctly under the law and regulations, while the remaining 70 percent are in breach of the law and standards, the spa services are not registered nor approved by the Ministry of Public Health Spa and in addition to the findings, some of the businesses are operating with a latency which is outside the scope of the spas.
