I love the Cafe´ 48 because it is beautiful. There are so many kinds of food. This is an example of
the awareness of the management team. The employees want to pay this back to the hotel
(Employee from the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok).
In addition, employees also perceived the O-Zone as a means for the hotel to refocus on
employees’ needs. The O-Zone illustrates the engagement of the hotel to attract the best
employees. This also highlights that the lifestyles of employees at the hotel had changed,
and that the O-Zone is one attempt from the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok to adapt to them.
This brings to light the importance of recognising the needs of future generations.
