PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has brushed aside allegations from his critics, saying that he would not entertain such matters or be distracted from his focus on Malaysia’s development.
“As Prime Minister, my leadership focuses on national development. I do not like to entertain unfounded allegations,” he wrote on his blog.
“In the social media era, issues spread easily without restriction. Treating these issues all the time will only distract me from efforts to develop the nation,” he said.
However, Najib assured the public that he would provide explanations on issues which arise from time to time.
“But let us not lose focus on our responsibilities because we are too preoccupied with these endless issues,” he said.
Najib also noted that phase 1 of the MRT project was about 60% completed.
