Dear all,
I mentioned during our last sales meeting on Tuesday January 21st at MBCC that someone (I know this man) has requested BKS to include a central lubrication system in the TOR for future bus tenders.
This is OK for us as it is an advantage for the after sales service of any bus, but the requested multi - line pump system is ridiculous. Is there a possibility to remove this technical detail.
As long as a central lubrication is installed it doesn't matter whether it is a single or multi line system.
Single line systems are much easier to install and to service.
For info:
The OC 500RF 2542, 15 m chassis has 15 greasing points in total.
6 on the front axle and 1 on the intermediate steering lever, all 7 are in the front axle area.
8 are on the tri (third) axle.
The O500RSD 2436, 12 m chassis has 18 greasing points in total.
8 on the front axle.
