1. Yes, I have tried to do some of these. I have the opporutnity in my current role to have all women on staff. I would really welcome some males, but we don't seem to be getting any in the mix whenever an opportunity arises in branch.
- I am very flexible with hours and do my very best to make sure that each staff member can have the benefit of life-work balance. Having a strong team makes this easier to do as it only takes one member to start resistance or keeping a tally chart of hours each person gets off to deal with family "stuff", be it appointments, sick dogs, sick daycare providers, etc.
- Being a part of our company's Women's Network, I get the opportunity to do my part in the Social Capital. Focusing on networking opportunities and mentoring helps other women get the opportunity to see and be seen as well.
