Aliquots (250 g) of aerial parts composed of stalks, leaves and flowersof G. quadriflorawere collectedduring the flowering stagein June 2010 near Bou-Saada, Algeria.The plant was identified by Prof.
M. Kaabeche, University FAB Setif. A voucher specimen (GQNK10) has been deposited at the Herbarium of Laboratory of Natural Prod- ucts and Organic Synthesis, Department of Chemistry, University Constantine 1. The plants were dried for ten days in the shadow at a temperature below 40 ◦C in open air.
