Six subjects falling around the mean were excluded from the analysis. It was found that the Type A group (n = 14) had a mean Neuroticism score of 12.57 with a S.D. of 5.91. The Type B group (n= 17) had a mean Neuroticism score of 7.41 with a S.D. of 2.81. A t-test revealed this difference to be highly significant (t = 3.09, p < 0.01 two-tailed test).
