In the cartoon "Misaeng",
there is a woman called Ms Sun who is a working mother.
She leaves her child at a day-care centre.
One of the male characters in that cartoon goes to pick up her child.
When he gets there, he sees a lot of kids waiting for their parents.
Many people expressed sympathy and could relate to it.
They could relate to the pain and posted comments about it.
It was from my personal experience.
There was a day-care centre on the first floor of my apartment.
That day, I had things to take care of and couldn't pick him up on time.
It was late afternoon when I arrived at the centre.
A bunch of kids came rushing out thinking it was their parent.
That's when I wrote this line.
"We are working hard to be happy."
"But instead of happiness, there are a lot more sacrifices."
So what is the biggest concern for people these days?
It isn't because they can't go on a cruise or go travelling.
The problem is that their daily lives are being destroyed.
I went to King Sejong Station located in the South Pole...
a few years ago.
Because of the poor environment,
they have very strict rules for their daily lives.
If they violate any of the rules, they are punished.
People appreciate the importance of everyday life in extreme conditions.
Once our daily lives lose balance,
it can't be made up with a trip.
It also can't be repaired no matter how much money we make.
My family, the people around me and I...
should all lead a decent life.
Only then, will people feel content and satisfied.
If you keep that in mind...
while you counsel people today, I think it would help.
