Look closely at this menu. Why do you think it is special? This menu is from the famous ship, the titanic. It's from the titanic's final lunch before it sank. In 1971, the menu was on the back of a $45 painting. Fred kelly bought the painting and menu. He didn't think about it very much. Then in 1998, the movie titanic became very popular. Fred's wife thought maybe the menu was worth up to $5,000. They took it to an expert - and found out it was worth $65,000! She laughed.
Alex bauer's mother paid just $1 for these star wars action figures. After Alex got them, he took them on a tv show. The show, Antiques Roadshow, tells people how much their items are worth. Alex found out his blue Snaggletooth worth $100. It's one of the hardest star wars action figures to find. Together, Alex's figures are worth $250-300! He doesn't plan to sell them , at least not right now
