To meet this gap, biodiesel derived from waste cooking oil with
3 different blend ratios (B10, B50 and B100) is studied and compared
with pure diesel. The main objective is to gain a detailed
understanding on waste cooking oil biodiesel’s performance, combustion
and emission characteristics under different engine speeds
and engine loads especially at the near engine idle speed, low engine
speed and low load conditions when extra lean combustion
may occur.
