Nine of the 29 (31%) participants in the control group decreased their BMI compared with 5 of the 40 (13%) participants in the intervention group (P = 0.059). Eleven participants in the control group either maintained or decreased their BMI compared with 7 participants in the
intervention group (38% vs. 18%; P = 0.056). Similarly,there were more participants in the control group who decreased their BMI percentile compared with the intervention group (48% vs. 18%; P = 0.006). Fifteen participants in the control group either maintained or decreased
their BMI percentile compared with 12 participants in the intervention group (52% vs. 30%; P = 0.068). None of the changes in the Healthy Habits Survey responses were significantly different between control and intervention groups.
