Monday is graduation day and the university makes it possible for class cancellation to allow students to participate in the ceremony. I'd leave it to you if you would want to have a class on that day. But given this uncertainty, I propose we have a longer today, with 30 minutes extra to cover 1/3 of time loss from class cancellation on Jan 7 when I was away.I would try to conduct a discussion in class in such a way that it is "problem based learning" as much as it can be. You can expect two types of materials to be introduced. One is theory and another is practical experience of water problems and solution. Until then, take a look at this youtube video clip. We will go over it at the later half of the lecture today under the topic of water right and watch out for two technical terms "riparian" right and "prior appropriation."
