2. Experimental details
2.1. Materials
The used polypropylene matrix, was supplied by ExxonMobil Chemical, it has a density of 0.9 g/cm3, and melting temperature of 165 _C. Almond Shells (ASs) were collected from rural areas of Morocco, before further use the Almond Shells were grinded in a precision grinder (FRITSCH Pulverisette 19) equipped with a 1 mm sieve size. This fraction was then sifted in a 100 lm sieve size to remove the presence of any waxes. Fig. 1 shows the distribution of the grinded particles and the morphology of the Almond Shell particles. The used coupling agent was supplied by Shell and
is named Styrene–(ethylene–butene)–styrene triblock copolymer grafted with 1.4–2 wt.% maleic anhydride (SEBS-g-MA) (Kraton FG-1901X).
