From 13 exploitation of prostitution cases, there were 4 cases that female victims were travelled by plane to Malaysia, 3 cases in KL and 1 case in Miri, Salawak state. All 8 out of 9 exploitation of prostitution cases, female victims were transported to Malaysia from Sadao Immigration checkpoint, only 1 case that the victim went to Malaysia from Betong, Yala province.
There was only 1 case that the court rendered punishment to 4 traffickers for 14 years imprisonment. Court dismissed 1 case, and the rest of all cases are in the investigation process of the police, searching for the offenders. Some offenders skipped the bail after granted temporary release orders.
