The fruit’s pericarp is commonly used in a well-traditional medicine
in Southeast Asian countries for several purposes particularly
for skin infections and wounds (Akao et al., 2008; Chen et al., 2008;
Devi Sampath and Vijayaraghavan, 2007; Ho et al., 2002;
Kaomongkolgit et al., 2009)
