Playing the male lead in 50 Shades of Grey, Jamie Dornan has to embody raw, virile sexiness in a way few actors are ever asked to do. Really, that's the crux of the character: a powerful, dark sensuality.
But during an interview on The Graham Norton Show, Dornan admitted that there's one aspect to his physicality with which he's incredibly insecure. You probably haven't noticed it, but it's on his mind all the time.
It's his walk.
As Dornan explains, he learned to walk … funny. He walked on his tiptoes all the time, giving him a light, bouncing gait that others had begun to notice. When directors and producers on set started to point it out, Dornan had to re-learn how to walk – like the other 6 billion people on the planet naturally do – heel-to-toe, heel-to-toe.
