This short clip had nearly 50 000 views on Youtube and fair few comments. Malaysians are very good at fruit growing. For dragon fruit they are unbeatable at providing appropriate supports. Note that any one dragon fruit variety will not perform in every location. Flowers may not pollinate, resulting in no fruit. Therefore collect different varieties, if possible from your local area. Another way is to support insect diversity in your food forest or gardens. Providing habitats is a good way to start and not using insecticides!
Agriperma on youtube has this comment: "Some varieties require some pollination help, they may even do better with another variety nearby to cross pollinate with, others do well without any assistance. not difficult to do, just wait for the flower to open, and shake the insides of the flower, do that with every flower that has opened that night. even if you have a self fertile variety you may get bigger fruit if you lend a hand.
