The client will have improved cardiac output as evidenced by:
B/P within normal range for client
apical pulse between 60 - 100 beats/minute and regular
resolution of gallop rhythm
verbalization of feeling less fatigued and weak
unlabored respirations at 12 - 20/minute
improved breath sounds
usual mental status
absence of dizziness and syncope
palpable peripheral pulses
skin warm and usual color
capillary refill time less than 3 seconds
urine output at least 30 ml/hour
decrease in edema and jugular vein distention
central venous pressure (CVP) within normal range.
