DAM is a technique used to analyze the trend of the defects. The matrix provided examples of different types of
defects, their location, and the frequency of its occurrence. DAM is used as a problem-solving tool in the continuous
improvement environment. Each piece of product is divided into eight zones. Each piece is inspected after
painting and the results of each zone are logged in. Different types of defects in different zones, their frequencies,
and their intensity is studied. Based on the tendency of the defects, the process is traced back to find possible
