INTRAVENOUS UROGRAPHY:
A 51-year-old man came with right flank pain.
The preliminary film of the abdomen shows evidence of a 2.6x2 cm renal pelvic stone
with possible few small lower calyceal stone.
After intravenous injection of the contrast medium prompt excretion is noted on left side.
Both kidneys are of normal size, position and axis.
The left pelvicalyceal systemsureter and bladder appear normal.
There is evidence of dalayed faint visualization of the markedly dilated pelvicalyceal system
The post voiding film shows no significant amount of residual urine.
IMPRESSION: The findings are suggestive of right renal pelvic stone with marked hydronephrosis.
