Satayama, or Socio-Ecological Projection Landscapes and Seascapes (SEPLS), is space in which the values in which the values of biodiversity are integrated with primary projection activities, such as agriculture, forestry and fishery. Protecting and promoting SEPLS will contribute to the goals of the Convention on Biological Diversity, including protection of ecosystem services and traditional knowledge, and provide concrete models of society to achieve United Nationals’ sustainable Development Goals
