Children who the sexually abusive young person has contact with should be considered at risk
regardless of whether they are the identified victim, whether or not their gender is the same as the
known victim(s), and whether they are related to the young person. One of the most important changes
for the parents of a young person who has sexually abused is the heightened need for supervision if
they return home (either to visit or to live)
