Postharvest decay caused by Botrytis cinerea Pers., Rhizopus
stolonifer (Ehrenb. Ex Fr.) Lind, Aspergillus niger v. Tieghem
or Alternaria alternata (Fr.) Keissler is the major cause of
rapid and extensive deterioration of table grapes (Nelson
1985; Barkai-Golan 2001; Lichter et al. 2002). These
