Create a Powerpoint presentation
Create a Powerpoint presentation for CottageFix Ltd. AND also a presentation theme that can be used for other presentations.
1. Start a new powerpoint presentation
2. Write the title “CottageFix Ltd” on the first slide and “In a Nutshell” as subtitle, use title slide as slide layout.

3. The second slide should be as follows (Choose the appropriate slide layout)

4. Fix the graphic layout of the presentation by applying a built-in design template:
Name of Theme: Median , Theme color: Solstice
(you can check the name of the themes by pointing at them)

Big houses 12
Summerhouses 15
Winterhouses 8
Doghouses 27
5. OPTIONAL (we have not covered this yet)
Create a new slide “House sales 2012” with a table and a column chart- Use the following data (you can copy the text from here and paste it in a powerpoint table):





6. Insert a footer on every slide except for the title slide.
The footer should have the following contents:
a. Current date
b. name of company (Cottage Fix Ltd)
c. automatic slide number

7. Animate the text on the second slide. Use the “appear” animation.
 
8. Insert a new slide (slide layout: Title only)
The title of the slide should be: ”How to build a house in less than 60 s”
Then animate the house building process :
NOTE! YOU SHOUL DRAW YOUR OWN HOSE MODEL, THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE OF HOW THE HOUSE COULD LOOK!!!
a. Start by drawing a box for the foundation. Apply the fly in animation. Direction: from above

b. Then draw the house body. Draw (in this example 4 ) boxes for walls, windows and a door. Paint them with Color you fancy.
Group the parts building up the body together and apply the fly in animation.

c. Draw a single box for the roof, animate with fly in, from above

d. Draw a chimney and smoke, e.g.:
Animate the smoke so it is moving in some way
(Use your imagination and test different animations)

e. Write the following 3 explanations:
“You’d better start with the foundation!”
“Then build the body!”
“A roof makes it perfect!”
Animate the texts along with the
corresponding graphics (foundation, body, roof)
Animation Order:1. Text” You’d better…”, 2. foundation box 3. text ”Then the body”
Write text and animate also the other parts (e.g. chimney)







9. insert the logo (house.png) of the company in the Slide Master. Place it in the upper right corner
Exception: In the middle of the master for the Title Slide layout!

10. Change the footer to this:




Now the presentation may look like something like this:



11. How do you print out Slides in this format:


12. Save the presentation as “cottage fix ltd”
13. Save the theme as “cottagefixThem
