The BSWCNT-based power diode contains three types of
resistance: contact (quantum) resistance (Ro), scattering
resistance or DC resistance (R,), and contact (interfacial)
resistance (Re) . The three resistances RQ, Rs, and Rc are in
series as shown in Fig. 6. Contact (quantum) resistance is a
direct result of a funnel effect in which a huge number of
electrons confined in 20 or 3D metal contacts flows into a 10
system, which is equal to hl2i (h is Planck's constant, and e
is the electron charge) for each conducting channel as
described in [20]-[32].
